What You’ll Learn
- What risk actually means (and why “high risk, high reward” is often a lie);
- Diversification — the real kind, not the kind sold on a brochure;
- How fees compound against you and the ones you don’t see on the statement;
- How to read a fund prospectus and a brokerage platform’s terms of service;
- Time horizons, dollar-cost averaging, and why timing the market usually fails;
- How to tell a legitimate opportunity from a scam dressed up in finance jargon.
How The Sessions Run
Three to five one-hour private video sessions, scheduled around your availability. Between sessions you get short reading assignments (never busywork) and a workbook that becomes your personal investing reference.
What You Won’t Get
Specific recommendations. We will not tell you to buy stock X, fund Y, or platform Z. That requires a registered investment adviser. What you will get is the knowledge to evaluate any recommendation anyone else gives you — including whether a “financial advisor” is actually working for you or for their firm’s product shelf.
Timing & Price
Course runs over 3 to 6 weeks depending on your schedule. Flat fee agreed in the engagement letter — most courses are between $750 and $1,800 depending on length.
